Recon armour is a specially modified lightweight armor with greater flexibility than standard Troopers. It has very good energy weapon protection, but limited protection agents kinetic damage. A scout trooper is an Imperial Stormtrooper specially trained for scouting and reconnaissance. The standard Scount trooper is not wearing the best camouflage for a forest/jungle environment and for some special missions a special camouflage armour set is used. The armour has a special visor that helps them see better in their environment, as well as concentrating their attention directly ahead. A armour that is still very special for Brigadier General Darby is the Stormcommando set. ISOC was founded as a Stromcommand Unit!

Special Ops Trooper

Stormtroopers are the elite troops of the Galactic Empire, loyal and with a very balanced set of armour. It is the base armour for many specialized units, such as Sandtroopers. They are identical to standard stormtroopers except they have additional training in specialized areas and advanced cooling systems in both their helmets and suits that offered them protection from relentless heat. A Special Ops Unit like ISOC is often using the Black Spec Ops Version of the Trooper armour, with the pauldron to show rank and provide the additional feature of the Sandtrooper set.

Assault Armour

Shock Trooper

Snowtrooper

The Imperial shock trooper is an elite member of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. The shock troopers are reminiscent of ARC troopers used for major assaults. The set has increased kinetic protections and makes it very durable. Snowtrooper armor is well suited to the climate extremes of frozen worlds. To facilitate breathing in extremely cold or dangerous atmospheres, a breather hood envelopes the snowtrooper's faceplate and fed into the suit liner. The helmets have built-in polarized snow goggles.
